Signal Mast Wiring
Almost any way you look at it adding signals to your layout requires a lot of work and wiring, but the end results can be very enjoyable. Using the SIC24AD with the DBD22 and TSA can implement a variety of signal schemes with out the use of a computer. Using the TSA board with built-in LED current limiting resistors makes connecting signals to the SIC24AD relatively easy.
The following diagrams shows in part the wiring for the default Setup (see the manual for more information on Setup #1) of the SIC24AD. The DBD22s are shown connected with and without the use of a TSA.
